Welcome to Future in Science!
This site was created to teach middle school students what it means to be a scientist by people who are scientists. This work was inspired and started by a middle school science teacher, Dr. Helen Sink at P.S. 007 Samuel Stern in New York.
The world of science can seem like a scary world to try to be a part of and it may seem like you’re not smart enough or good enough to be a part of it. Wrong! If you’re interested in science, that’s all you need! There are many different ways to be a part of science and many different paths you can take.
We hope this site helps open up the world of science to you. We hope it inspires you to learn something new and to ask questions. We hope that a Future in Science is for you!
